CORE

CORE is a project initiated by greenTEG, an innovative company based in Zurich, Switzerland. The goal was simple: to improve the performance of athletes.

To achieve this goal, they merged three different areas of expertise: sensing technologies, physiological research and sports science. The result is a wearable device that can accurately monitor core body temperature during sports activities, but can also be used in normal daily life and during illness.

The CORE sensor is a user-friendly and portable sensor. The sensor measures, through the SWISS-Made sensor technology, real-time data of the core temperature of the body. The CORE sensor is equipped with an innovative sensor that can make the thermal energy measurable through the power of an AL algorithm based on more than billion data points. Thanks to the power of machine learning, the CORE sensor can be continuously optimized.

While other types of wearable thermometers just record skin temperature, the CORE sensor incorporates the small 'thermal energy transfer sensor' which detects the heat moving from or into the body. This is processed by the onboard algorithm to calculate your real-time core body temperature.
