CÁdomotus
Forged from steel and ice, Cádomotus, pronounced "Kä-dō-Mō-tŭs", embodies the dynamics of the 'falling movement of the body'. Originally founded in 2007 by engineer Diederik Hol, who developed his passion for speed and innovation from a young age, Cádomotus has positioned itself as a pioneer in the world of sports innovation. Hol, who grew up with cycling and further developed himself as an elite rider, became involved in the world of inline and speed skating during his thesis project, coinciding with the introduction of the clap skate.
Hol’s vision to revolutionize skating led to groundbreaking designs such as the Raps Axel and the Raps Rotrax, which mimicked the natural movement of walking and jumping. With his innovative mindset, he further developed the NSX clap skate and the Dual Box design for inline skating, which is still regarded as the most advanced design worldwide. In 2006, he founded Cádomotus with the mission to make the sport more accessible by creating functional and design-driven products that enhance athletes’ performances.
With the introduction of the Cádomotus Record clap skate and the first specific marathon skating helmet, the Cádomotus Alpha and Omega, Hol expanded his expertise into other sports disciplines. In recent years, Cádomotus has focused on the triathlon world, with an emphasis on aerodynamic helmets and innovative cycling shoes such as the Chronos and Worldcup models, which improve cycling efficiency and help athletes optimize their performance.
At Cádomotus, everything revolves around innovation, quality, and creating products that make a difference in the world of sports. Discover how we continue to push boundaries and support athletes worldwide in their pursuit of peak performance.
